Plastek Visit 21st September 2010

We were privileged to visit the high speed, high volume Plastek facility in September, and our thanks go to Nigel Williams and his team for the warm welcome we received.



Plastek UK is a high-volume manufacturer of plastic components for packaging, for example the top aerosol assembly for Lynx deodorant, many millions of which are made each year.

East Midlands Packaging Society Visit to Marston’s Brewery 9th December 2009 - Visit Report

On the 9th December 30 members of The East Midlands Packaging Society visited The Marston’s Brewery at Burton Upon Trent. The Marston's Beer Company is the brewing division of Marston's PLC and is responsible for some of Britain's best-loved beers, including Marston's, Banks's, Jennings, Hobgoblin, Mansfield and Ringwood. Golf Day

We had a great day yesterday at Kedleston Park - I wouldn't go so far as to say that the sun shone, but the weather was fantastic for golf, not a breath of wind. The staff at Kedleston looked after us really well and the meal in the evening was excellent.
