Welcome to the new Social Network for East Midlands Packaging professionals. We will be posting items of interest to the local packaging community, plus details of the forthcoming events of The Packaging Society, East MIdlands.

We are a local Society of The Packaging Society, which some of you may remember as the Institute of Packaging, before it joined with the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3). As part of IOM3 we are members of a community of over 19,000 materials professionals.

We don't insist that you are a member of The Packaging Society or IOM3 to take part in this Network, but we think that there are real benefits to taking a full role in the Society, from Neworking to access to Technical information, professional recognition and more. Professional members can achieve Chartered Engineer, Scientist or Environmenalist status and you will be in the company of many of the world's most eminent specialists.
