Interesting to see retailers demand improved performance from packaging to avoid so called 'wrap rage' amongst consumers. Shows the challenge for some styles of packaging but also the demand for functionality and the opportunity for packaging to deliver ease of opening as a real benefit to consumers.

Just signed up for another year and will continue to be an active member of the EMPS so I can paricipate in seminars like the recent pack to the future event held on the 19th October. On 19th October 2011, The East Midlands Packaging Society hosted an event with the Nottingham Trent University which laid the foundations for a new and exciting collaboration between academia and business in the field of #packaging #design.
