Mercian Labels™ is an award winning designer and manufacturer of self-adhesive labels since 1969. From humble beginnings in a small building in Penkridge, Staffordshire to their current 24,000 square foot factory in Burntwood, Staffordshire, Mercian consistently delivers superb service in industry-beating lead times.

Mercian’s technical specialities are in digital labelling, 8 colour UV flexo, screenprint and high-volume variable data and barcode labels. They also manufacture and globally distribute Label Lock™, the premium brand of tamper proof security seals, and Gammatex™, gamma irradiation indicator labels for sterilisation purposes.

They have innovated and invested in automated digital printing, and in 2022 installed automated finishing with the launch of the ABG CONNECT technology developed in partnership with CERM and ABG.
